AMI supports the Instituto Maria José Batista Lacerda organization by financing the project, which aims to promote the sustainability of organizations through the training of its members and the provision of tools to support production and also to foster community dynamism and gender equality .
Started in September 2016, it will support 48 people directly belonging to the working groups, namely: Group of Groceries - neighborhood São José: 2 men; 10 women; Doce Vida Group - Cajazeiras Velha: 14 women; Arte Vida - Caiçara II Group: 2 men; 12 women and Group Producers of Hortaliça - Serra da Arara I: 8 women.
At the end of the project, it is intended that the enterprises of solidarity economy in the four communities have resumed their operation. Women's groups have acquired tools that enable them to improve the production and sale of their products. The groups are functioning in a sustainable way. And that women's groups are working autonomously and have positive outputs.
